Anstey is ten minutes from base, straight up past Glenfield. The old village core around The Nook and Bradgate Road needs stone that sits right against period brick, while the newer estates towards Cropston Road are usually a blank slate, so no two quotes out here look the same.

Rothley Brook runs through the middle of Anstey and parts of the village have flooded in the past, so drainage comes up in nearly every conversation. Permeable paving on drives and proper falls on patios are worth doing right the first time here.
